This is a feature length film that does not look forward to traditional producers neither to traditional distributors but to your support and contribution. The film will be made by whatever you donate. The minimum amount is only one rupee but of course you can contribute more if you feel generous. You can also make also make absolutely no contribution and wait for the film to release to watch it for free. But you better contribute some amount of money in order to make sure that the film gets made.
Once the film is ready all the contributors shall receive a copy. The expected period of completion is July, 2013 when everyone starts getting download links in their inbox or DVD copies in their mailboxes. There's no traditional release scheduled yet and neither do we plan to walk that path. If you are not a contributor we cannot promise you anything. If you really support the spirit send in 1 Rupee at least, for the film.
Little Fish Eat Big Fish is known for no-budget films, so, you might ask why exactly this project is needing money. We can assure that we have not changed the method i.e how we used to make short films. None of the actors or crew is working for money here. But the team is big and of course everyone will require food on the sets. They will require reimbursement of the costs incurred due to their participation in the project. No one here is a weekend filmmaker. Most of our co-activists never tried their hands at a paid job just to keep serving this medium of great potentials.
If you don't support our cause, no need to ask questions. You'll get your food. Film industries will keep on entertaining you. Please don't show fake empathy.
If you support our cause, we know you'll stand by this initiative as it is your cause as well and you will support us in some other way, if not financially.
